The Vlietmolen is a seesaw on the Zederikkade in Lexmond in the Dutch municipality of Zederik. It was built for the drainage of the Lakerveld polder. The mill bombed this together with the Bonkmolen and the disappeared Lekkersche Molen 'and the also disappeared "Rode or Overtogtmolen. The Vlietmolen was in operation until 1986. Jan van Wijk was the last miller employed by the polder and has more than this task 60 years.
On 1 November 1997, a fire broke out in the mill as a result of a malfunctioning flue. This caused major damage to the Vlietmolen. From 2001 to 2002, the mill was completely restored with great care. At the end of 2005, the lower wheel broke due to damage caused by fire and rainwater. November 10, 2011 the mill could water again. The lower wheel has been completely renovated except for the cross windows. The mill spreads the water with the help of a scoop wheel with a diameter of 5.62 meters and a width of 41 cm.
