Photography is my cup of tea. When I got my father’s Minolta SR-T 101 to try out at the end of the eighties it went fast. Tried everything you can think of and by becoming a member of a photo club really accelerated my development. That I had talent turned out at an exhibition; a window was smashed and a portrait printed by myself was stolen. In the nineties I mainly photographed people while travelling. A few exhibitions and prizes further on I got the chance to teach photography. On the first course one of the students gained my interest and we married in 2007. Now I mainly photograph on holidays and trees (you get with such a surname). But my greatest passion is Urban Exploration, an adventurous form of photography in which abandoned buildings are explored and photographed.
