Een van de plekken die me als kleine jongen al fascineerde was de Hollandse Brug vlak bij wat toen nog het Muiderzand heette (tegenwoordig het Almeerder Strand).
Buiten het feit dat je een held was als je van deze 13 meter hoge brug durfte te springen, was het alsof je, door onder deze brug te lopen, in een andere wereld terecht…
