Andalusia

When people think of Andalusia, the first things that come to mind are sun, sand, and sea. Yet Spain's southernmost region has much more to offer than just that. Andalusia boasts a long and fascinating history, a magnificent culture, exquisite cuisine, and breathtaking natural landscapes. Andalusia features four distinct coastal stretches: the Costa del Sol, with its popular sandy beaches; the Costa de la Luz, with its seemingly endless natural beaches; the Costa Tropical, with its small swimming coves; and the Costa de Almería, home to many idyllic, almost deserted beaches. The most beautiful beach in Andalusia? If I had to choose, I would pick the magnificent Playa de la Barrosa in the resort town of Novo Sancti Petri.
